News:Artsist Kenny Scharf, whose work can be sold for thousands, tells The Post about his Brooklyn arrest for graffiti

NYPost By JESSICA SIMEONE

A well-known graffiti artist was busted tagging a wall in Bushwick — and he says star-struck cops Googled him while he was in a holding cell.
Kenny Scharf, 55, said he had a cameraman with him Saturday as he was tagging a wall on Morgan Avenue.
While he was spraying a cartoon snake, cops rolled up and arrested him.
The artist was part of the East Village art scene of the 1980s and rose to fame with Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring.
“The initial cops that took me in liked what I did. They knew the mural I did on Metropolitan Avenue,” Scharf told The Post.

They Googled me, and they were asking me all different things about my career,” he added.
Scharf, who has a show at the Paul Kasmin Gallery on West 27th Street, was arraigned on charges of attempted criminal mischief, attempted making graffiti and possession of graffiti instruments.

Where The Girls At: 10 Places To Find NYC's Most Beautiful Women

In a city known for one of the most favorable male to female ratios in the world, it's sometimes surprisingly difficult to find single girls. Where do they all go?
The not-so-surprising answer: where you don't go. It's not on purpose, they just demand different things from their nights out. So, rather than spending time at your old haunt, think outside of the pub-and-sports-bar-box, and get inside her mind for once. Where would she go that you wouldn't?
These are the places where the odds are stacked considerably in your favor: 10 Places to Find NYC's Most Beautiful Women. With knowledge comes power. Use it wisely, gentlemen.

Cocktail Lounges and Speakeasies

Where the girls go: Little Branch (22 7th Ave. S); Employees Only (510 Hudson St.); Death & Company (433 East 6th St.); PDT (113 St. Marks Place); Clover Club (210 Smith St.)
If the menu offers a colorful cocktail with five or more ingredients, you're in the right place. While you might prefer a beer when you're out with friends, women often like to congregate over complicated, toothache-inducing cocktails with 4 word names like "The Sparkling Orange Blossom." If there is a mixologist on premises, or you can find the words "champagne floater" on the menu, a pack of pretty girls will be there too.
How to approach her: With a real martini in hand, admit to her that her drink actually looks pretty damn good..."but don't tell anybody I said that."

Art Exhibitions and Gallery Openings

Where the girls go: Check the NY Daily News andTime Out for weekly listings
Women in the five boroughs are culturephiles. Need proof? When's the last time you went to a museum? And you were with a woman? We thought so. Even when you're not in the picture, she still attends openings, checking for the latest from her favorite artists, wine glass in hand. She goes to talk with people who have a respect for the arts, which mostly includes other hot women.
How to approach her: Research the artist before hand. Check out his/her website to find some previous work so that you can form an opinion. Spend a few silent moments taking in a particularly impressive piece before sharing a thoughtful insight into the artist and his/her work. Yes, it's that simple.
How to approach her: Hold up two shirts and sincerely ask, "Which shirt do you like better?" Seriously, women actually enjoy helping men with this kind of stuff. If she's remotely interested, she'll ask where you're going. You know, so she can help recommend which shirt is more suitable. And there's your opening…
Where The Girls At: 10 Places To Find NYC's Most Beautiful Women

Karaoke Lounges

Where the girls go: Winnie’s (104 Bayard St.); Karaoke One 7 (29 West 17th St.); Baby Grand (161 Lafayette St.); Planet Rose (219 Ave. A); Sing Sing (81 Ave. A)
When women have finished their ladies night dinners at their glossy restaurants, sometimes someone will suggest karaoke. And because they all had several glasses of champagne at dinner, this will sound like a good idea. Katy Perry and Ke$ha will invariably be on the playlist, as will many shots to ease impending stage fright.
How to approach her: Post-performance, when her self-consciousness sets in, tell her she nailed her song, but you could totally do it better. Set the stage for a little competition, and tell her whoever loses has to buy shots.

Champagne and Wine Bars

Where the girls go: Flute Bar (multiple locations), Bubble Lounge (228 West Broadway), 'inoteca (323 3rd Ave.), Terroir (413 East 12th St.), D.O.C. Wine Bar (83 North 7th St., Brooklyn)
It's no secret—women love bubbly. When a pack of women walk into a bar, the sound of rosé popping will inevitably be heard shortly after. Which is why, we're convinced, champagne and wine bars really even exist. Really, how many times have you went out and been all like, "I just really need a glass of prosecco right now"? Fact: Every woman has said this sentence at least once in her life.
And since we live in a post-Drake world, most men will become accustomed to saying this as well.
How to approach her: Talk to her about wine. After she orders her sparkling wine of choice, tell her she should really try X glass because Y. Teach her something new, and you'll stand out among the other schlubs that just mindlessly sent her another glass...(WANT MORE ?)

WEB KANDI WEEKLY @EliciaSolis Says Love can wait... Let's make millions 1st

Tell us a bit about yourself...

I am a UK glamour model based in Ilford, Essex, Greater London. Much more then a pretty face as I have graduated in Law and Business. I am a fun loving girl who loves to spend time with family and friends especially my gorgeous nephew.

What made you get into modeling?

Growing up around show business made my childhood very different from a lot of my friends. With my dad, a singer, songwriter and entertainer, constantly on tv, in the media and in a movie with Peter Sellers, I found it easy to be in the spotlight myself modelling from the age of 5yrs. Reaching my teens, I soon discovered the cruelness of some peoples actions, being bullied by other children at school. Living my teen years with not liking who I was and how I looked, I began modelling in my early twenties to try and find my inner beauty and build my confidence.

What do you enjoy about modeling?
The reaction I get from my fans of my work, when they get excited over my pictures and photo shoot videos then that excites me ;)

Worst part of modeling?
The way some people stereotype glamour models, what some people do not realize is that modelling is a career and not who we are as a person

http://www.impulsegamer.com/mod/elicia17.jpg Do you have any tattoos? If so where and what of?
Yes I have 2 tattooss, 1 on the inner side of my foot which states 'Jose' which is my nephews name and the other is writing on my right wrist stating 'Loyal to none', there is a story behind that tattoo but I will save that for another time, lol ;)

What's your best asset?
My ass ;) That's why my management call me Kryptonite

http://www.impulsegamer.com/mod/elicia16.jpgWorst?
My boobs, they were so small and flat so I had to get breast implants.

What are three technological things you cannot live without?

My iphone, laptop and there's not a 3rd, just cannot live without those two.

 How do you relax?

Chilling at home with my mum watching movies and eating loads of food ;)

Top three things that annoy you?
1. Random guys inboxing me on Facebook asking for my bb when I do not even have bb and if I did, I wouldn't give it, lol
2. The traditional UK weather of coldness and rain, lol
3. Rude people

Top three things that make you happy?

1. My family
2. My friends
3. Sunny hot weather

Married or Single?
I'm single

What do you look for in a guy?
A good personality, someone who makes me laugh

What is your favorite movie?
The hangover

Favourite Music?
Hiphop Dirty South

Favourite Food?
Italian food

Favourite Colour?
I'm a lover of many colours

Your motto for life?
Love can wait... Let's make millions 1st Baby ;)
