Hip Hop has always had an intimate bond with Virginia, with legends like Pharrell, Timbaland, Missy, and The Clipse, formulating their own unique sound with its VA trademark. Richmond native Michael Millions is continuing in that Old Dominion tradition with his latest effort, Slangin' Tapes, from his forthcoming release "Ghost Of $20 Bills".

Dropping tracks under the Purple Republic Music Group, Mike Mills gained famed in his hometown via his Ashes and Samples EP, his Loose Change mixtape, and The Color Purple LP, released in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
